Obituary of Megan Wardell Davies

Megan Wardell Davies, age 64, of Media, Pennsylvania, formerly of  Barberton, Ohio and Heidelberg, Germany, died on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving children.

Megan was born in Barberton, OH. She graduated from Frankfurt International School (Class of 78’) and University of Michigan (Class of ‘82).

Megan spent the majority of her career working in the insurance industry. She wore many hats, made many lifelong friends and loved helping people.  She was an avid reader and lover of card games. 

Daughter of the late David Kaufman Davies and Catharine St John Davies

Survived by her three children; Kelly Cetroni (AJ Cetroni), Sarah Kennedy (Brian Kennedy), David Gaardsmoe (Lizzie Germer). Five grandchildren: Carter and Cole Cetroni, Matthew, Lily and Eleanor Kennedy. Her three older siblings, Catharine Newberry, Thomas Davies and Ruth Davies (Dan Bacon); and her nephews, nieces and many cousins. 

Visitation: Wednesday, April 3rd from 6:00-8:00PM and Thursday, April 4th after 10:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Thursday, April 4th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Private.

Memorial Donations: In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Providence Animal Shelter, 500 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, PA 19063. Megan was an avid animal lover and wanted to see all of them find loving homes.
